Missions

Appalachian Mission Trip July 5-12
The Appalachian Mission Trip is a ministry to churches in the Cumberland Gap area of Tennessee, Kentucy, and Virginia sponsored by Christian Education Ministries of the ARP Synod. High School students registering for the Mission Trip must have completed the 9th grade (exceptions made on an individual basis). Our team will be assigned to help a local church reach out to their community with the Gospel by organizing and implementing a Vacation Bible School program. If anyone is interested in ever going to Wales this trip will help prepare you for that mission. Feel free to contact the youth office if you have any questions.

Middle School (Application) June 9-13, 2008
InTown Mission - Students, student leaders, and staff work at various ministries in our city to assist in their ongoing work. Participants will gain a perspective on serving in our own community. This mission is a week long commitment that works daily from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and is varied in form and work load.

High School (Application) July 17-27, 2008
Glyncoch Wales - Participants will assist Glyncoch Christian Fellowship in reaching their community in South Wales. Activities include a holiday Bible club for children, sports outreach, and an evening coffee house for students. We will provide encouragement to the church and the community families.

Youth Volunteers

We welcome volunteers who are growing in their relationship with Christ and in the fellowship of the church. We would be glad to meet with you.
