Set among majestic hardwoods on 17-1/2 acres on the Congaree River,
Laurel Crest offers exceptional community living for senior adults.
Carefree living on the river combines freedom and comfort with

Active, independent
seniors can select from eight apartment home plans or from two
custom cottage styles, for a total of 78 apartments and eight
cottages. Each residence has an all electric kitchen, individually
controlled heating and air conditioning, emergency call buttons
and smoke detectors. Emergency personnel are on duty 24 hours
a day. Weekly housekeeping services as well as apartment maintenance
are a part of living at Laurel Crest.
At such time as more
assistance becomes necessary, Laurel Crest offers several levels
of care: 16 assisted living rooms, 12 skilled nursing rooms and
six rooms for special needs/Alzheimer’s residents. Each
area is separate but adjoins each other, and each has its own
dining area. Residents of Laurel Crest have priority admission
to any level of the Health Care Center.
Laurel Crest’s
dining room serves three delicious meals a day with table service,
and a wide variety of selections are offered at each sitting in
the elegant dining area overlooking the garden and the Congaree
River.
The attentive staff
maintains a busy and varied activities schedule for the enjoyment
of the residents, and church services are held in the parlor each
Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. for residents who are interested.
