The Christian Counseling Center was established as
a ministry of First Presbyterian Church to encourage growth and
healing in the Christian community. The Counseling Center can
provide you an opportunity to develop a relationship with a caring,
compassionate and professionally trained Christian counselor.
Counseling is available for individuals, families and groups;
help is available for marital problems, depression, anxiety, family
problems, recovery from childhood abuse, and recovery from various
addictions. Counseling fees have been set at a reasonable level.
The Christian Counseling Center is directed by
Thomas Barbian, Ph.D., MFCC. Associate counselor Bobbie Lackey,
M.Ed., Ed.S. is also available for counseling. Appointments or
