| Our primary ministry is Sunday School where we use curriculum
which is graded and developed with the characteristics of each
age as a guiding principle. As they grow in the knowledge of God’s
word from these lessons, we also help them to learn basic Christian
Doctrine by providing families with the First Catechism. Bibles
are provided when they enter the 1st grade.
Families are supported on Sunday evening with Club classes for
1st - 3rd graders and 4th - 5th graders during the worship service.
Children go to Clubs after the children's sermon. The Music Ministry
provides two choirs for elementary children. Primary choir for
1st - 3rd graders and Junior choir for 4th - 6th graders meet
at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
Special activities are provided for children during the annual
congregation meetings, mission’s conferences, luncheons,
and other events. The Music Ministry provides three choirs on
Sunday evening; Cherub (4 & 5 year olds), Primary (1st-3rd
graders), and Junior (4th-6thgraders).
Annually children may participate in Vacation Bible School, in
sports opportunities such as basketball teams and camps, and in
the Sunday School Christmas program.
Children's worship bulletins are provided for Beginning Readers
and Readers for the morning worship services to help children
keep their focus on worship and the text of the morning. Wonderful
books and resources are available in the Word House, our children's
library located in room 101.
